Most people are quite familiar with how Andre Ponder likes to waltz around in designer suits. In fact he points it out even when nobody asked. Even look his direction and get an immediate, its xx brand, thank you.
Initially, I wondered why he always had a smell of dirty laundry. Was never super strong, but could tell the items were being worn multiple times. I thought that was quite odd since usually someone with such high dollar taste takes care of their investment.
What I learned from Andre Ponder himself is most of his outfits are in fact from Goodwill. There is nothing inherently wrong with shopping second hand, and they do have good buys sometimes. The issue I take is someone being completely phony. Seems comical to try and make people think your wardrobe is worth thousands and thousands of dollars, then hop into a hoopty vehicle.
I have much more respect myself for clean laundered clothes than dirty second hand ill-fitting designer ones. An “authentic” person would be interested in the person, not the label. The fact your whole personality is based on such a petty lie makes one disingenuous automatically.
I recently read several articles about phony imposter syndrome. You see, most people with actual wealth of any kind don’t make their life a label. You can generally tell when a celebrity makes it big because the amount of bling bling decreases exponentially because they no longer have anything to prove.
It is also interesting that a man of extreme intelligence never seems to have even the minimum time required to wear clean clothes. It is more often than not the odor of musty fabric wafts down the halls of the district office and schools.
What it says about Andre Ponder is that he is phony, starting with his often smelly apparel that he can’t afford to maintain. It also clearly gives him the impression he is better than everyone else because of the tag on the inside of the jacket. The more you get to know him, the more obvious it becomes that it isn’t only his smelly coat that nothing more than a mirage of stability and competency.
From smelly clothes, to his inability to operate a simple smart phone, I wonder what other deceptions are in his background. It seems odd that someone that is so heavily invested in education, can’t even type a letter that has a consistent font.
As I have said before, there is likely a reason Andre Ponder loves the company of the morally bankrupt Hope Blinco as much as he does. I am just not sure which one is the puppet and who’s the puppet master. Clearly its two parasites with a symbiotic relationship of back scratching, the unknown is what is the gain on each side exactly.
