The reality of getting as sick as I did from Hope Blinco’s Mold Emporium is even now it still has a lasting imprint on my mind. I have to actively work to remind myself that not illnesses are a relapse. Sometimes I am just not feeling well.
I never thought I would work somewhere that would have that kind of negative impact on me. I am used to getting head colds, sore throats, ear infections, etc. A year after leaving the school district though, I am still hyper vigilante because of the gaslighting of Hope Blinco.
The difference, I believe, that ultimately allows me to separate the mold poisoning is the onset of the symptoms. After I take deep breathes and go over the one year of declining health and the myriad of symptoms that progressively got worse, I am then able to distinguish the two.
I also have to remind myself that there is a difference between a sore throat and me drinking liquid Benadryl for 6 months to keep my eyes from basically swelling shut. I remain shocked that the former Superintendent and Hope Blinco told me all that time I didn’t look too sick to them.
I knew how sick the Mineral County School Administrative Building was making me, but foolishly allowed a few other people to convince me that both my doctors and myself were wrong and I was just fine. The lesson I certainly learned is when things are wrong for a prolonged period of time, and medical professionals say there is something wrong, I will never again allow a couple of clowns to gaslight me into thinking something different.
