I feel like I have really beaten into the ground just how negatively the Mineral County School District affected the rest of my life, and how it has an impact on an entire generation of kids. The reality is that I need to also be respectful that the current Superintendent has inherited a lot of corruption and downright evil District staff.

One thing that has been interesting is that sometimes I start talking about my past before Mineral County, and people are amazed. Before I moved to Hawthorne, I would consider my life to have been pretty ordinary. Living here, I have really grown to appreciate that I have had an extraordinary life. When I ran in circles that encountered all the same, wasn’t notable.

My stories will be from previous jobs (and let me tell you they are wild, but completely true) and my personal experiences. I have done a lot in my life that I have grown to appreciate was not a reality for most people. In my personal life I have been in the company of celebrities, traveled private with the powerful, met politicians, successfully got bills through, and had some extraordinary friends that don’t fit the above.

These aren’t stories of people that wanted to extend their hotel stay, wanted to donate to the non-profit sector, or boring people at the country clubs of Colorado. I think that all of you will find them interesting, but also think it will give perspective. A lot of these stories will encourage you to see how sometimes missing reality, or perspective can cause experiences to pass you by. I never once set out to have the experiences, they found me because I wasn’t being terrorized and was able to just enjoy my surroundings.

Come with me on this adventure. I will obviously still report out or call out waste and abuse as it happens in the interim, but I think I have a lot that will entertain and distract from business as usual wherever I can. I appreciate everyone that tunes into my blog across the globe.
