I Got the Vindication Required

This week I received the validation I needed about my horrific experience at Mineral County School District. It’s been two years since the adjudication of my EEOC complaint. What they came back was more of a gift than I ever imagined.

The EEOC returned, said I was wrong, and gave me the right to sue the Mineral County School District. I almost broke down on the phone discussing it with the agent. It wasn’t enough for them to pursue it for me with their limited resources, but I was right.

I probably won’t sue; I had no idea how much better just hearing I was wronged would mean. To me, it means that I did experience what I thought. It also means that people like Horrible Hope Blinco and Dirty Diane Rodriguez did actually break the law.

Sometimes hearing and seeing you were wronged means more than litigation. I probably won’t sue because I instantly received the closure I needed. I will give it more thought, but not sure suing and being terrorized for another 5-10 in court is actually beneficial.

Knowing I was wronged may very well be the closure that I require.
