I touched on this issue once before, but I feel it warrants its own blog post. The question the Mineral County School District Administrative Office had was how do you deal with someone that is asking questions that leads to the truth? Their answer was to file a fictitious restraining order.
The interesting part of the story is a staff that is supposed to be in control of an entire school district had to put all their minds together to cook up what was ultimately another Wiley Coyote scheme. Many people may wonder how I know Diane Rodriguez had help. The way that I know that she had the dream team of Andre Ponder and Hope Blinco was their actions immediately leading up to me being served the paperwork. Both Andre Ponder and Hope Blinco were clammier than a chowder on the wharf by the accounts of numerous people.
I was stunned that they would go to this particular length to stop me from asking questions. I had never threatened anyone, nor had I even set food in the moldy office that almost killed me since my departure. Where they went to far was they felt they needed to embellish the story and get the restraining order extended to the administrative office when Diane Rodriguez didn’t even work there.
It was clear from the moment I saw the paperwork, that weepy eyed Diane Rodriguez pulled off a performance where claimed she was some terrified feeble old woman, which is why she was the one that applied for the order. The fact the order extended somewhere she didn’t even work is what prompted me to look into the actions of the insidious actions of Rockie and Bullwinkle and the main office.
Initially, I was inclined to let it stand just to avoid the argument. The reason I fought it was because I refused to give them any grounds to extend it past the temporary order. I don’t believe that either Andre Ponder or Hope Blinco thought I would actually fight back.
When the court appearance occurred, even the judge saw through the facade that Diane Rodriguez was putting on. Clearly her two handlers hadn’t clicker trained her well enough to even justify her fear. She started off pretty strong with a bogus fear I was going to drive across the state to torment her, even though that never happened and she certainly had no evidence of such.
She then broke down into a rant about how I ask too many questions, complain too much, and when I complain they get into trouble. Diane Rodriguez didn’t just do that once, there were two complete rants about how the restraining order was intended to keep me from keeping me from complaining or asking questions. The restraining order was dissolved at the end of that hearing. I only wanted it cancelled, but the fact it was dissolved should give people a sense of how Ludacris her behavior was.
One thing I still don’t know is why was Keith Neville attended with her. He sat there like a Mr. Potato Head, or a bobble head. My belief is he thought he had some kind of celebrity status that would override the fact that Diane Rodriguez was a complete liar. I bring this up because Keith mentioned in a subsequent board meeting that Diane Rodriguez had recently been in town to help the school. The reality is she was only in town because her appearance was required when I disputed her restraining order. She arrived the night before and left immediately after the hearing.
The Keith Neville and Diane Rodriguez is just another example of why corruption in public spaces is so problematic. It wasn’t enough that he bobbled his head through a losing court hearing, but he continued to advocate to make it rain more money on her. Those two are pretty close friends. Keith Neville also tried to circumvent the entire policy on expenditures and get her awarded a contract in secret. He only brought it to the Board Meeting because in the hearing I mentioned that she was being paid dark public and they knew I could prove it.
