So it has been a year since I set out to regain my life. They say that time heals wounds, but over this last year, I have found that isn’t always true. It isn’t the fact that I was cheated out of my dream job or even that I had to go soul searching that bothers me.

What continues to bother me is Horrible Hope Blinco, and Dirty Diane continue to reign terror on the staff and students. I think closure in my saga means that those that harmed me and continue to harm others should not be a part of public education. I continue to hear stories about how Horrible Hope fails at every single turn to live up to the bare minimum of her job description. It isn’t a personal issue, it is a public issue.

Those that perpetrated the wrongs against me continue to live lavish lifestyles at the expense of the students and educators. There is no reason to have to a second Finance Manager, just as there is no reason to have a payroll clerk. All the payroll clerk position did was free Hope up to terrorize the staff. I am sure most people noticed that the number of witch hunts she goes on had increased exponentially.

I remain “in the game” because the staff, students, and citizens of Mineral County deserve better. Not only does everyone deserve better, but the school can do better. The district needs to do better, or it will continue to be at risk for a state takeover at some point.

I will never rest until the staff, students, and residents of Mineral County get what they pay for.

  1. I would ask you to “keep the faith” at this time and to give the current Superintendent a chance to remedy some of the most pressing present ills that bedevil the District & our community.

If we are fortunate and the District is wise, Mrs. Keuhey will be selected as the permanent Superintendent. When that indeed occurs, many in our District will find their professional knees beginning to quake.

    Best Wishes,

    1. I agree. I have faith that the current Superinrendent will right the ship. If you notice, there aren’t any posts about the current. I know the current inherited a toxic culture and greedy people like Diane. With time, I know the current Superintendent will change course for the better. Ships don’t turn around without calculated moves.
