I know there has been interest in why a lot of my previous posts were so specific in naming names. The truth is really a follow-up to the post about how I ended up owning this domain. Despite what the Former Superintendent and Hope Blinco thought, I was actually inclined when it comes to technology.
The reason I ultimately chose WordPress as the platform for this blog is actually quite simple. WordPress is not only one of the most used platforms for websites, including the Mineral County School District. It is also a platform that has a rather tight relationship with Google.
One of the things I did before I moved back to Nevada was teach small businesses in Colorado how to complete Search Engine Optimization “SEO”. Optimization in the city is the difference between coming up on a Google search or not. The appearance in a search can be the difference between struggling, or an extra six figures.
I named the former Superintendent to make sure he was held accountable for all his misdeeds. You see, when his next catfished employer researches him online, they will likely come across the blog. It fulfills the obligation that Mineral County School District failed on. It allows new potential employers to be a little more informed about what they are getting into.
It is my belief that is why out of the blue my blog became international. With about 18 countries suddenly finding my blog through Google, it was most likely due to him trying to move along with his same bogus story. There doesn’t seem to be much other reason that globally, there would’ve been a huge spike in international interest. I still get some international traffic, but it tapered after about 3 weeks.
With the reign of terror concluding, there is not a specific reason any longer to give the former Superintendent any credit or attention.
